Let's stop *just* making castle ruins
It's time to visit the classic D&D setting: ruins! You can use these in both a forest setting using the sidewalk tiles and wilderness tiles or in a desert setting using the desert tiles and desert scatter! The world is your modular oyster. Or, just take the techniques and build anything else you want :)

Make the terrain you WANT to make

I had a dream. And it was to create a crazy, complicated floating island battle stage. This video is more of a showcase of what's possible with terrain building. It's also a love letter to all my engineering-oriented crafters; to those who are curious about the limits of their creative potential; to fans of Dimension 20; and to those who have had the privilege of experiencing a fully fleshed ca...

I did, and these rock walls turned out aaaaall right! Also, I took a quick break from the puns on this one, but they won't be gone for long! Boring Desert Battles? Make Your Terrain Wide AND Tall!
Просмотров 16 тыс.10 месяцев назад
Deserts and dunes seem like they would go hand in hand, but how can we introduce decent elevation without worrying about descending minis? These small mesas and hoodoos will certainly take your desert terrain to new heights by mixing the benefits of scatter terrain (where you can just quickly chuck these bad boys down) and modular terrain (magnets allow you to stack 'em high and make arches wit...

CHANGE how you think about Modular Water + Coasts

So you want to make some water terrain! But do you need a lake or a river? Is it tropical and clear or swampy and muddy? That's some amazing terrain. I don't have the skills, the tools, or the storage space to build it, but that was amazing to watch and thank you. The space issue may not really be fixable, but the skill issue should be if I keep doing what I'm doing. So maybe I'll aim for small but awesome terrain someday. Once I've learned the basics!

I love these tutorials!!! They're like all I need. Came up with another UDO idea to keep you up at night: With the way these are made to stack, I could imagine there being a wall topper that could be a cornice piece. This would allow for the walls to be assembled into a temple front, or the cornice pieces could be placed on the ground to accentuate the ruin feel and provide cover
